Earlier today Cougar wide receiver Mike Reed had arthoscopic surgery on his right knee for a torn meniscus suffered in saturdays game with UCLA. The senior from Baytown Texas might be down but don't count him out. Unfortunately, he will be miss between two and four weeks. According to the schedule the weeks ahead in order would be Wyoming at home, on the road at Utah State, New Mexico and hopefully in time for the matchup in the Lonestar State with TCU. In the meantime look for some rotation from Austin Collie, Luke Ashworth, O'Neill Chambers, and Spencer Hafoka. Yes, Reed might be able to catch up on some reading but knowing Mike he will come back better faster and stronger. From all Cougar fans we will you well in a quick and speedy recovery.
