Helmet Of The Week

Currently on both the Heisman and Davey O'brien watch lists Max showed exactly why. After seeing the Max'd out stellar performance on saturday Hall unquestionably deserved the Helmet Of The Week. After 3 games he ranks 3rd in the nation with nearly 1100 yards. He is 14-2 as the Cougars starting quarterback. He is nephew to Danny White and the MWC recently tabbed Max as the offensive player of the week for a second consecutive week. Hall was also recently awarded the Walter Camp National Player Of The Week. This season he is 91 of 117 for 12 TDs with only 2 INTs including a 186.8 rating (per ESPN). After being pulled early in the 3rd quarter Max was 27 of 35 (77 percent) with 7 TDs and 1 INT. Yes 7 touchdowns in only three quarters against a BCS team. How can one argue with that? Hall can read the defense, call the correct audibles, make timely adjustments on the fly, throw with laser pinpoint accuracy, and spread the wealth to the various receivers while leading the team to victory. What more could anyone ask? Max Hall gets my helmet of the week.
