Apparently back on August 18th the Collegiate Licensing Company released its annual list of top university sellers. Their rankings represent royalties reported from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. At the helm for the third consecutive year was the University of Texas. Nike has occupied the top slot among collegiate apparel brand names since 1999. While LSU was the largest mover among the top 10 colleges (gained seven positions to rest firmly at #4). ....while Cougar fans led the MWC at 46 in sales yet still well ahead of that school up north ranked at 53. Other conference schools of note was CSU beginning at 57 followed by New Mexico (58) Air Force (59) TCU (61) and Wyoming (64).
