On Neutral Ground
Later today at 5PM the Energy Solutions will be the center of attention in the 225th meeting between the Cougs and the Aggies. The jerseys in blue lead the series 134-90 and this will be the first time for both teams in squaring off at a neutral site. Both squads are defending conference champs coming fresh off of victories (Cougs thumpin Weber 92-62 and USU 74-62 over UC Irvine). Neither team has seriously been tested yet and this should give a better indication where both squads stand. The Aggies are led by a dynamic forward duo of Gary Wilkinson (6.9/240 Sr) and Tai Wesley (6.7/240 Soph). Wilkinson averages 16.4ppg with 8.2reb. Wesley isn't far behind at 12.6ppg with 7.0rebs. The Cougs triple threat of Cummard, Tavernari and Jimmer will be tough to shut down. Clutch Cummard leads the way at 20.6ppg with 6.6reb. Tavernari brings 16.1ppg and 7.1reb to the contest. Fredette averages 12.4ppg with 5.3ast. Tipoff is at 5pm with tv action on KJZZ and KBYU.

Actually will not be on KBYU but rather on BYU Television nationwide. Channel 374 on DirecTV, Channel 9403 on Dish Network and Channel 21 locally in Utah on Comcast.
This was a really hostile crowd. The Aggie fans were pathetic as always especially with the "Dave Rose Sucks!" Chant. Pathetic. How could anyone hate a classy guy like Dave Rose?
As for Utah State's team, they are pretty dang good. Probably Top-25 caliber. It was a great win tonight and to do it on a night where Lee Cummard had one of his worst games as a Cougar is pretty good.
Go Cougs! 8-0!
Hey if you'd like go check out my new BYU site that I started up with some other Cougar fans.

Keep up the great work on your site!
Derek....appreciate the correction. Wasn't able to watch it since I had previous obligations but heard it was tight. I figured it would be close but that the Cougs will come out in the end. Was surprised how Cummard disappeard though.
